The last couple of weeks have been amazing! I just got back from spring break on Saturday and I am still exhausted from the trip. I went to 4 countries and 7 cities within 2 weeks. I was with 7 other students and it was a blast! It was a bit rough being in a group that big but I wouldn’t change the experience for the world. We went to Venice, Rome, Hallstatt (Austria), Salzburg, Munich, Prague, and Berlin. It was easily one of the best experiences of my life.

Two weeks with my life packed in a backpack was a little rough as we got towards the end (inevitably, we all got a little smelly) but by the time we got back to London , we were all best friends. I mean, some of us wanted to kill each other as well, but for the most part, best friends. I would tell you what my favorite place was, but it’s really impossible for me to say. Each place had certain things about it that I loved. Venice and Rome were just gorgeous and the historical sites were amazing. Austria had absolutely breathtaking landscapes. Prague must have been the inspiration for Disney World and Berlin was very artistic and modern as well as having great nightlife. Everywhere we went there was something new and exciting to discover. It was wonderful! By the end of it though, I think we were all ready to be back in London. Exhausted but happy, I probably slept a good 14 hours when I got back.

Now that we are all back in London, school is our first priority (not that it wasn't always, of course). I haven’t had class yet this week but I am catching up with reading until I do. It is getting near the end of the semester so I have several papers and exams to study for. I’m glad that my classes are interesting, though, otherwise these tasks would be much harder to accomplish.


It is so sad that the semester is almost over because that means I will have to leave soon. I’m not ready yet!! I love London too much to go home quite yet.

I suppose I do have another month and a half so I should probably stop complaining but it’s hard not to think about the end now. Well, I guess I will just have to enjoy what I have left and not let it bother me too much. As much as I would love to sit here and talk more about my wonderful spring break and all the fun I am having across the pond, I must instead get back to school work because, after all, that is the whole point of STUDY abroad isn’t it?
